This senior affordable housing community, in conjunction with Samari Towers, is a $52M development consisting of a128-unit high-rise operating under a project-based Section 8 HAP contract. This property was built in 1981 and acquired and rehabbed in 2018 with the allocation of $17.5M in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
The rehabilitation included a complete renovation of the exterior and interior of the building. The exterior received upgraded landscaping, new hurricane impact windows, and a new community center with a state of the art kitchen and all new furnishings. The interior of the building and units received new vinyl plank flooring, new fixtures, new paint, and upgraded kitchens and bathrooms.
