Broadway Towers

This senior affordable housing community is a $51.5M development consisting of a 215-unit high rise operating under a project-based Section 8 HAP contract. This property was built in 1980 and acquired and rehabbed in 2018 with the allocation of $17M in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).

The rehabilitation included a complete renovation of the exterior and interior of the building. The exterior received a full brick replacement and reinforcement, new pedestrian bridge, energy efficient windows, garden beds, and covered patio. Broadway Towers also received a new community center with a state of the art kitchen and all new furnishings. The interior of the building and units received new vinyl plank flooring, new fixtures, new paint, and upgraded kitchens and bathrooms.
